SPANISH car maker Seat has announced details of two hot hatch versions of its popular new Leon model. The Leon Cupra and Cupra 280 variants boast 265 and 280 horsepower respectively, while the latter assumes the status of the most powerful Seat to date. Lincoln introduced its hoity-toity Black Label Collection at Pebble Beach on Thursday. In the words of Jim Farley, “The new Lincoln Motor Company is built on three foundational elements -- design, quality and personal service; Black Label represents our highest expression of these elements.”

The Volkswagen Viento project by the South Korean team of Youngjai Jun and Gunyoung Yoon was judged to be the best, and awarded first place by a jury of the world's top automotive designers. The French trio of Aurelien Deleuze, Pierre-Hugues Vallin and Robinson Mancaux we given the runners-up spot with their project, Silent Interactive Climber, while Cristian Polanco of Guatemala came third with his work, the Bugatti Liriom.
